![]() ![]() So a recurring theme in the game is how your interaction somehow causes the entity to change, from White Face to HER to Zanotti. Yes but if you move after you shoot her you see that it is White Face that killed HER and not you. That doesn't really preclude my interpretation. ![]() Here, Zanotti seems to back up my interpretation of things, at least insofar as White Face and HER. (And since Zanotti's Twitter profile picture is him wearing a White Face mask, it seems probable that the rest of my interpretation is correct.)Īt any rate, it's plausible also that the player is either an instantiation of White Face, or more likely, that the player isn't in the shoes of the "protagonist" (a totally featureless character), but simply playing as White Face.Įscrito originalmente por alecks:As for the whole "White Face = HER?" debate, theres strong evidence for both sides and i am personally neutral about it. For me, I think that White face being HER is metaphorical, being shown literally. I will also compile a list of every link between them both and maybe we can reach a more satisfying conclusion Im not a big fan of that theory, but it makes the most sense to me. Well technically the dev said HER is White Face "acting like it's something new" or sort of. Also, considering White Face is an unstable phantom of deception with no real personality, HER can be interpreted as its other side (along with Ivan Zanotti, as the in-game character).Īlso, it's just my thoughts of course, but I have a feeling HER and the portrait of a redhaired girl are not related. HER being another form of White Face, and the girl being. Im so glad you brought up the girl in the potrait. It's refreshing to see restraint on the over abundance of Ambience_1.The only thing i could think of is that she was HER before she died. ![]() A certain ending in particular is one of my favorite endings in any game ever, which is one helluva accomplishment for a horror game. I won't spoil anything, except that there are two endings to this game. There is always a constant sense of "there might be something around the corner". The game knows exactly what you are thinking, and uses it to it's advantage. Well, horror! This game will give you some good reactions. In the horror genre! A lot is left up to speculation, and you know what that means! As weird as it sounds, Ivan managed to make a great story out of two characters, and fit it into a 1 & 1/2 hour game. While the original had a good enough story as is, Imscared 2016 expanded upon it immensely. This game will make you question of your computer is your computer anymore. Oh boy does Imscared pull out all of the stops. Since the meta horror genre was relatively new, there was a lot to work with. Every place will give you the chills, with the pixelated style used to add atmosphere, rather then treat it as a hindrance, as many others do. Ivan Zanotti managed to build a spectacular world with what he had, and the mood is on point. ![]() That's not gonna stop me from recommending it to hell and back though. So, I'll list the positives and negatives, so you can decide for yourself. I could go on about this game for hours, but I will spare you from my rambling (and spoilers). ![]()
